WELCOME

We’re a Christ-centred, biblical and pioneering church within a global Anglican Fellowship

Welcome new visitors to WHCC. As a local church we’re a community of everyday people with Jesus at the heart of everything we do.

Jeremiah and the Messianic Hope
Series: Jeremiah
Jeremiah 33.14-26, Luke 2.67-79
God's OT promises of a coming Messiah are fulfilled in Jesus in two stages; at first the coming of Jesus and the spread of the Gospel to the nations through the Church and Jesus’ followers. Then ultimately at Jesus’ second coming, when his reign will be fully implemented.

    Peter’s Proclamation
    Series: Jeremiah
Jeremiah 14.11-15, Acts 2.1-6, 12-21 The one through whom grace and peace comes is the one who will come to judge. The question for us is where will we stand in that judgment? All humanity stands condemned and yet, in his mercy, God has given a way out of being condemned. By trusting in what he has done for us through the death of his Son on the cross we will be saved from condemnation. Such trust will show itself in a new way of behaving, a new birth through the Holy Spirit.

What Went Wrong with the Reform?
    Series: Jeremiah
What was wrong with Josiah’s religious reforms? Although there was clearly an outward reform of religion in the nation, was there a real genuine change of heart? Listen to this message and see what the Lord may be saying to you.

    Here Comes the King
When Jesus rode into Jerusalem on a slow-moving donkey, many may have interpreted this to mean that their king, the one who was to come in peace, was now here. Sadly however, what started as a triumphant entry into the capital at the beginning of the week ended a few days later with many shouting 'crucify him, crucify him'. What happened in between?
