GIVING

How to support our vision and mission financially

Automatic Payment AP giving is popular and easy to set up in your online banking.

It’s safe and you don’t have to remember to fill your envelope and bring it – allowing recurring giving.

It makes it easier for the church to budget. It can be the first thing to come out of your pay packet/income.

A tax receipt is available at the end of the financial year.

About Giving

We do not run a stewardship campaign. We believe that those who profess Christ and seek to follow him will want to support his kingdom work and make offerings of thanksgiving to him.

We do not ‘preach tithing’. Rather we follow the New Testament teaching of Jesus (who gave everything for us) and St Paul (see especially, 2 Corinthians 8).

What you give to the church is between you and God, and should be negotiated prayerfully with him.
The only people who will know how much you give is the Recorder (who has no other position of authority in the church) and the Treasurer.
