Our WHCC music ministry is made up of a great team of committed volunteers, with our goal being to facilitate and express worship to God that is Christ-centred, biblical, and vibrant.

With our Anglican heritage, we endeavour that our services will express the richness and diversity of that tradition, whilst still being contemporary and vibrant in how we bring this to our community.  This means preserving the best of the old songs whilst sourcing and introducing the best of the new (with theological and musical quality being very important factors).

We seek to be creative and develop excellence in our singing, musicality and in skills for technical support in sound and visuals.

We have a team approach, and we want to encourage and train adults and young people in musicianship and worship leadership.

There are different roles within the team as worship leaders, singers, musicians, sound techs and PowerPoint operators.  We look for a good blend of Character, Competence and Chemistry in team members, and for prospective members, an audition is required for most roles.
